Neptune Software and Power Payments Technologies partner to provide integrated payments services for SWIFT messaging, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Exceptions & Investigations for Rubikon.

Power Payments Technologies (PPT), a leading provider of SWIFT solutions and Neptune Software (Neptune), a top 10 international banking systems provider, today announce their partnership. The agreement enables Neptune to offer a complete suite of integrated payments services, including SWIFT messaging, anti-money laundering (AML), and
exceptions and investigation within Rubikon, the new versatile banking and financial services solution from Neptune Software. In addition both parties will be able to leverage their sales and delivery networks, by extending each other’s reach. The fully integrated solution offered by Neptune is based upon the Wire Transfer Wizard® (WTW) from PPT. PPT’s solution will provide; (1) an advanced Exceptions & Investigations (E&I) workflow and case management solution to be used for international and domestic SWIFT-based exceptions, (2) a payment oriented general purpose SWIFT messaging and payments processing solution, (3) a gateway for Corporate customers into SWIFT, and (4) an AML layer to secure incoming and outgoing SWIFT and domestic transactions.

Like all Neptune and PPT products, the WTW for E&I is J2EE based, SOA and database independent delivering a complete, compact, and easy to integrate and operate solution. As well as bringing efficiencies the combined solution of Rubikon and WTW provides banks and financial institutions with tools to enable them to meet the Wolfsberg Principles and FATF Rules for the purpose of preventing the bank or financial institution from becoming an instrument for money laundering, the financing of terrorist activities, fraud or other corrupt or illegal purposes or practices.
